We are looking for a law student to provide research support for former Pardon Attorney Liz Oyer’s new podcast Is This Really Legal? Our show breaks down the legal questions behind the headlines and educates Americans on the justice system, the courts, and the unprecedented challenges to the rule of law in America.
Each episode translates the legal questions dominating the news into plain English: What is the role of the Attorney General? What does the Department of Justice actually do? Who has the power to declare war? Why does the rule of law matter?
As Is This Really Legal’s research intern, you will write weekly research memos to help prepare for upcoming episodes and assist with social media management, including monitoring incoming questions from listeners. The ideal candidate will have experience in breaking down complex subject matter to accessible content for a general audience.
This is a remote position. Candidates must be currently enrolled in law school (any year) to apply. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis.
